American Auto Industry :: Epic Fail
Honestly I don’t understand what is happening to America. Why is congress debating bailing out an industry that hasn’t changed its business model, and continues to execute a model of failure?
The biggest argument is the job factor, but how exactly does dumping the salary burden of the auto industry onto the tax payer help anyone?
The fact is the American Auto Industry has been building products that no one wants for too many years. They have been paying far too much for substandard labor, and substandard quality for too many years.
I see no reason to dole out tax payer dollars to an industry, that after getting spanked by the Japanese FOR 28 YEARS, still hasn’t figured out how to create a quality product that also had a respectable profit margin.
28 years of FAIL is not something that should be rewarded. The consumer has spoken, why hasn’t the tax payer?
